Teona Aria Khutsishvili Kradenych

Teona Aria Khutsishvili Kradenych, eleven weeks, peacefully transitioned to heaven on Thursday, July 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Teona, pronounced Tay-own-a, was born at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA on April 21, 2021. She had an unfortunate condition called Trisomy 18 which is dubbed “not compatible with life”. Teona had an inner strength that astounded doctors, nurses, and all her loved ones. Her iron will granted us the gift of life outside of a hospital environment and the freedom to love her in close quarters at home. Against all conceivable odds and by the grace of God, Teona fought to live, be nurtured, and to be loved for almost three months before succumbing to her disorder.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the Chapel at Bonaventure Mausoleum (the mausoleum located outside the gate of Bonaventure Cemetery). A private burial will follow in the Devotion Garden at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you consider a donation in Teona’s memory to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.

A candle has been lit!
