On Monday, June 21, 2021 Susan Henry Parks, 62, passed away peacefully at home. 

Susan was a loving mother to her son and three daughters. The longtime Savannah resident was born on September 12, 1958 in Woodbury, CT.

Susan was a kind, smart, supportive, and funny sister, mother, and friend. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the world with friends and family. Susan enjoyed reading thriller books, coloring, and drinking pink lemonade. Susan was an animal lover and enjoyed every type of music. She had the ability to forgive and forget, to love unconditionally, and have acceptance for everyone. Her best attributes were becoming a mother and raising her four incredible children. 

Susan was a loyal and true friend and loved by many.

Susan was predeceased by her father, John “Chick” Henry and brother, John Joseph. Susan leaves behind her mother, Gail Henry; the father of her children, Jamie Parks;  her children, Jared Parks, Ashley Parks, Vanessa Saturday (Cole), and Sarah Parks; grandchildren, ArKeen, Ray, McKenna, Everett, Wyatt and Mackenzie; sisters, Lisa, Carin and Marta; stepmother, Deborah Henry; stepbrothers, Christopher, Garth, and Bryan; and countless other family and friends that will miss her dearly. 

Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with Rev. Kevin Kelly officiating.
