Catherine Woolfolk Battle Potts, 98, passed peacefully in her home in Savannah, Georgia on Thursday June 17th, 2021. Catherine was born and raised in Columbus, GA. She married Lieutenant Irwin “Pappy” Potts in 1942, and moved to Savannah in 1945 where they lived joyfully for 68 yrs together until his death in 2010.

Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by daughters Pamela Anne Potts and Puttie Wilson Potts, granddaughters Amy Gaylor (Charles) Nedriga, Rebecca Gaylor (Steve) Hobby, great grandsons Lane and Cole Hobby and great granddaughter Anna Grace Nedriga, all residents of Savannah.

GUEST BOOK

I love you, Puttie and Becky! It’s been such an honor to get to have Mrs Potts as a client for over the last 10+ years! When I first met her and Cynthia, we always had a ball cutting up! As Mrs Potts aged I got to be there and what an experience it has been! I loved Brenda and Melanie too!! Everyone in the salon has loved seeing her through the years! She was such a phenomenal, smart and beautiful person inside and out!!!

Dear Puttie, I’m so very sorry about the news of your dear mother. I fondly remember your sweet parents riding their bikes through the neighborhood greeting everyone they saw. I always admired their friendliness and their love for each other. My prayer is that your wonderful memories and your Faith will comfort and sustain you always. With love, Jan
