Celebrating the life of

Michelle Helene Keller

Passed away on May 06, 2021

Michelle Helene Keller

Michelle Helene Keller, 55, passed away on May 6, 2021 at her home.  She was born April 26, 1966 in Fort Bragg, NC, daughter of James J. “Jim” Keller and Sandra Roberts Keller.

Growing up in a military family, Michelle spent most of her time on the road traveling across the country with her parents and siblings.  She attended many schools and graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School.  In 2004, Michelle decided to settle down with her husband and children in Savannah.  She was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and volunteered as the church’s Kindergarten CCD teacher since becoming a communicant 2004 as well.  Michelle worked in the service industry for over 30 years, most recently, the last three years as a housekeeper.

Michelle enjoyed being around family and friends more than anything else.  She also enjoyed her favorite place, the beach, as often as possible.  In her free time, she loved doing creative arts and crafts, volunteering to help others and a lifelong dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Michelle could be described as one of the most kind-hearted, generous, caring, loving and funny people. She was one of a kind.

At the time of her death, she was survived by her father, James Joseph Keller who passed away June 17, 2021.  She is also survived by her children, Matthew Zupko, Christine and Nicholas Maney; sister, Beth Ganley; brother, Jimmy Keller (Julie); grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Whitaker and Skylar Zupko; nieces and nephews, Alec and Aiden Ganley, Grace and Delia Keller; and beloved pets, G.T., Ozzy and Angel.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Elaine Keller and husband, John David Maney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   Inurnment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.

Remembrances:  Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
