Hubert Harry “Pete” Evans, Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence.  He was born July 11, 1945 in Edgefield, SC to the late Hubert H. Evans, Sr., and Elizabeth Jett Evans.  Pete was the owner of Southeast Technical Coating.  He was a member of Central Christian Church, as well as the Scottish Rite, the Blue Lodge, and the Alee Temple. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Evans.

Pete is survived by two daughters, Hope Keyes, and Alisa Evans-Newsome, both of Savannah.  Also surviving are three sisters, Faye Love, Sandra Love, and Julia Orr, three grandchildren, Evan Adair, Satin Willow Phillips, and Brodrick Sterling Wiley, one great-grandchild, Tristine Wiley, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Savannah Chatham Humane Society.
