Bennie took me under his wing right after my dad passed expectantly. For weeks, he showed up at my house early in the morning and and we wouldn’t get home till 9 or 10 at night, riding all over southeast Georgia seeing customers and teaching me the ropes. He had an exceptional work ethic - a virtue of the highest order. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He really loved taking care of his customers. Bennie lived a good life. I will miss him dearly.

Cheryl, Hillary, & Ryan, words alone can not express our condolences and sympathy during this difficult time. Being Bennie’s “yankee” cousin, Bennie will always be remembered as the family member we admired for his love of family, friends, his accomplishments, and how he lived life with such passion and joy. We will cherish forever our time together and hold steadfast to the fond memories, good times, and laughs shared over many years. It was truly a blessing that we were together one last time this past March, as Andrea & I traveled through town. Bennie will forever be an inspiration to us all with how he lived his life with such integrity, love, and happiness. He will always be in our hearts and minds, as he was truly a special person that touched so many and that I remain proud to call my cousin. Rest In Peace dear Bennie. We will miss you!

Bennie was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We would often stop and visit when we were out and about in the Causton Bluff neighborhood. Bennie taught me a few things about fishing including the introduction to the “electric chicken” fishing lure. Because of this I have enjoyed catching many fish.
