Celebrating the life of
Diane Croom
Passed away on
Diane was born in September of 1946. Along with her brother Larry, she was raised by Lawrence and Ruth Sinclair in Savannah. After college, Diane married Gary Croom and began her 30-year career as an Art teacher for the SCCPS system. Together, they raised two daughters: Julianne & Susan. Each of her daughters gave her a grandchild: Lydia (J) & Hope (S). For more than 30 years, Diane was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini. Through the years, she served as both a Eucharistic Minister and a Sunday School teacher. She loved to paint, raised her daughters to value Christ and was a remarkable Grandmother. On May 19th of 2021, she joined God and her loved ones in Heaven.
A graveside service to celebrate Diane's life will be held at 1 pm, on Sunday, May 23rd in Greenwich Cemetery. Diane's life will be honored with a Memorial Garden. Plants that symbolize your love for her are appreciated.
David and I offer our deepest sympathy to the family. We are both honored and grateful for having known such a good and kind friend. She will always be in our hearts. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
