Donald Scott Lyons

Donald Scott Lyons, 40, of Cajah's Mountain, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday May 11, 2021 while working in Baxley, Georgia.
Mr. Lyons was born on November 2, 1980 in Burke County to Linda Branch Adams and husband Clyde; and Donald Lee Burns (Dad). He worked in construction for Reid Fabrications.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Aeriana Elizabeth Lyons.
Surviving in addition to his parents are four brothers, Michael Lyons and wife Donna, Adam Lyons and wife Rebecca, Paul Lyons and Nathan Burns; his step father Allen Lyons and wife Sandra; his step siblings, Melissa Adams Marcus, Rebecca Adams Cleckner and Joshua Allen Adams, Connie Anderson , Donnie Anderson; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and his canine companion Zeus.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday May 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Rev. Danny Honeycutt and Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Memorial Gardens in Connelly Springs.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, NC.
