Rita Harwell McKeever
Passed away on May 10, 2021
Rita Harwell McKeever, 94, passed away, Monday, May 10, 2021 at Spanish Oaks Retreat. She was born August 16, 1926 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Theodore “Hick” Harwell and Kathleen McCarthy Harwell. Mrs. McKeever was of the Catholic faith and was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton R. McKeever.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn and Randy Wise of Savannah, five stepchildren, Mike McKeever, Scott McKeever, Mark McKeever, Greg McKeever, and Lisa McKeever, as well as ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A Rosary Service will be held 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Private burial will be held at a later date in Ellijay, GA.
