October 15, 1949 – May 11, 2021
Thien Huu Mai passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021. He was born in Quang Binh, Vietnam to Che Mai and Duyet Thi Nguyen. In 1980, he and his family came to America as refugees and settled in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania before making his permanent home in Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Vy. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Tung, and his daughters, Vy Ty, Tovi, and Truc Vi "Stacey".
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21, 2021 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. Vietnamese prayer services will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday and Friday in the Islands Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
