Dr. Betty C. Klein, PhD

Dr. Betty C. Klein, PhD, 93, died peacefully, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at home. 

Born and raised in Marysville, Ohio, she graduated from Ohio State and earned her PhD from the UGA.  She was a mother, teacher, principal, professor, pilot, half owner of a travel agency, President of the GA AARP, a witty friend, crossword puzzle addict, and a true inspiration to all who had the opportunity to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson B. Klein, Jr., and son, Thomas E. Klein.  Leaving behind is her son, William R. Klein, and daughter, Sue K. Rains, four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two nieces, Lynn Reich from Urbana, and MaryAnn Corbin from Marysville.

We loved you and will miss you Mammaw.

There will be no local service.  Her family will take her to Ohio to be laid to rest.

Please make a donation to a hospice of your choice in her name.
