Passed away on March 10, 2021

Lloyd David Jordan

Lloyd David Jordan, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Candler Hospital.  He was born December 12, 1943 in Savannah to the late Clifford Rudolph Jordan and Mae Hendry Jordan.  He grew up at Bethesda Home for Boys, and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.  Mr. Jordan retired after 50 years of service from Union Camp Corporation and was a member of Coastal Community Christian Church in Richmond Hill. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by ten siblings.

His is survived by his wife, Marie McCullough Jordan of Savannah, son, Max Shuman (Charlotte) of Effingham County, daughter, Teresa Moir (J.T.) of Richmond Hill, five grandchildren, Megan Mousa (Adam), Della Dossey, Kelly Shuman, Jordan Moir, and Kayla Moir, three great-grandchildren, Carter, Paisley, and Everly Mousa. 

He is also survived by two sisters, Freda Bazemore of Ellabell, GA, and Mary White of Savannah, GA, and one brother, Cecil Strickland of Ethridge, Tennessee. 

Mr. Jordan was a devoted husband to Marie for 50 years.  He loved spending time with family, particularly his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed his work and days off fishing.  He was an expert trouble shooter and could fix anything.

David was truly a great man and loved by many.   

A Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Collins, GA.

Remembrances may be made to the Coastal Community Christian Church, 1770 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
