Rest in peace old friend.

So long, old friend, I'll remember the good times we had together. We were friends in HS where Norm was a great gymnast. He later devoted his energies to biking and growing bonsai trees among other living things. I hope it brought him great happiness. To his sister and immediate family I extend my sincerest sympathies.

Norman!! I just heard the news!! From "the little red-haired girl" on E. Huntingdon Street. I am so sorry. In January, you had just sent me photos of your beautiful view of the marsh at sunset at The Landings. And we spoke for over an hour on the phone. You asked me what I needed for the rescue cats? I said, "money for flea meds.". And a week later, an envelope arrived with $100 dollars for the cats. We spoke again, a quick thank you, as I was running out the door. I had no idea that this was your way of saying goodbye. Goodbye to all the kitties you helped me with. I am so sorry, Norman. I cannot believe this happened. Good bye, dude. I'll always smile when reminiscing about the afternoon when we 1st met out on my patio on Huntingdon St., and at how wasted we got. My husband had to cut us off. LOL!!! I miss you, old man. --- Your little Chilean friend, Mariela
