Luba P. Zhybaj
Passed away on July 11, 2018
Luba was born July 27, 1951 in Valencia, Venezuela to the late Teodor and Lina Pystrak. Along with her parents, grandparents, brother and uncles, they immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled in Buffalo, NY. After graduating from Lafayette High School in 1969, Luba was married for 23 years to Victor Zhybaj (US Army, Ret). Luba moved to Savannah, GA in 1991, and for 27 years, shared a home of love, adventure, boating and fishing with Walter Nedriga, who passed away Feb 22, 2018.
She was sister to Ted (US Army, Ret) & Young Pystrak of Arizona and Katherine & Daniel Azzarella of Georgia. Mother to Andrew (US Navy, Ret) and Stephanie Zhybaj of Guam, Christina and Charles Darden of Colorado and Jennifer Zhybaj of Georgia, she was also a loving grandmother to Courtney, Tobin and Lina and several grandkitties. She is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins that are spread across the United States, Venezuela and Europe. She was known as “mom” to many people over the years.
Luba is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother Stanley and Uncle George and Aunt Carmen Gaidasz.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I always enjoyed seeing her at Dr. Karen Turner's office and when I would run into her in various places. I just spoke with her in Wal Mart last month and had a great conversation with her. May she fly high!

I'm sorry for your loss. Death is very painful to all of us. However Jehovah is the supreme comforter and offers it through his word The Bible. 1Corinthians 15:26 brings comfort in knowing that soon God's kingdom will put an end to death. I hope this scripture and many like it help you to endure this difficult time
