Celebrating the life of

Christine Iannuzzi

Passed away on January 27, 2021

Christine Iannuzzi

Christine Iannuzzi, age 65, passed away on January 27, 2021 in Savannah, Georgia, after a lengthy battle with COPD. Daughter of Mary Jane Adams and James Roulon Adams, she is survived by her father, her husband David, and two children, Michelle and David Jr.  She is also survived by her 3 sisters, children's spouses, Ina and Cory, and 4 grandchildren, Connor, Mazzeo, CJ and Alexander.

Christine was born and raised in NJ where she met her future husband as a teenager in Westmont, NJ. In 1990, they moved to Savannah, GA and built a thriving business in the commercial pest control industry. Despite the move, she remained best friends with Debbie and Maria over the years.

Christine made room for everyone in her heart and home. It was not uncommon for her to open her doors to her friend's children and young women in need of shelter and loving kindness. Christine held a special place in her heart for young Vivienne who became another grandchild to her. She also had a passion for animals, especially her beloved Yorkies, Savannah and Cupcake. Her favorite moments were when everyone gathered together, including animals, friends and loved ones. That usually meant Christmas, Disney World or the 4th of July!

Christine was preceded in death by her mother, her infant child Diane, and in-laws, Louis and Mildred.

Services will be held at Fox & Weeks Islands Chapel (Wilmington Island, GA) on Saturday, February 6th at 1:00 pm.

A zoom link will be available by contacting the family directly for those unable to attend in person due to distance or COVID restrictions.

GUEST BOOK

I met Christine when she first came to Pulmonary Rehab here at Candler. She was the most dedicated patient. Always here when she was feeling well. She would always let me know if she wasn't coming and kept me up to date. She fought a hard and long battle. But she damn sure gave it her best. I pray that God's love will surround your family. I pray that his grace will console each of you and give you peace. I'm going to miss you Christine. You were a kind soul. Hugs!

To Shell’s mom...you were one of the strongest women I have ever met. I see where your daughter gets it from. Rest in peace Ms. Christine. You are loved by many and missed by all! Much love to the family!

I was introduced to Chris in 2007 with the firm I worked for. Chris had a heart of gold and displayed it everyday. She was feisty and I loved that about her because she did everything with passion. She opened her home to so many people that needed help. Chris passionately loved her family. We often talked about her trips to disney with her family, especially her grandchildren. Chris will be greatly missed and leaves me with great memories of the time we talked & spent together. Prayers for David, David Jr. and Michelle and family.

- Leigh A Keith, Statesboro, GA

I am sad to hear that Chris passed. I have been her company's health insurance broker for 13 years, and through. that time, in the course of conducting business, we have had many pleasant conversations about things other than business. She was always so sweet to me. She once told me that I would always be her health insurance agent, and I really appreciated that, not because of the financial aspect, but because she really trusted me and felt I did a great job for her. My prayers for Chris, her family, and friends.
