Celebrating the life of
Dennis Joseph Lales
Passed away on January 02, 2021

Dennis J. Lales, 61, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 2, 2021.
Dennis was born on April 24, 1959, in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and Benedictine Military School, class of 1977. He then attended the University of Georgia before returning to Savannah to work in construction management. He later went on to start his own construction business. In recent years, he worked as the maintenance technician at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center. Every fall, he enjoyed cheering (and commiserating over) the Georgia Bulldawgs. He was profoundly proud of his three daughters, loved them with all his heart, and was looking forward to becoming a grandfather later this year.
Dennis is survived by his daughters Helen Lales, Agnes Thurlow (Austin), and Emma Lales, and several loving cousins, nieces and nephews in the Saunders and Gaudry families.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Lales of Savannah.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Catholic Cemetery. Please be prepared to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be sent to Blessed Sacrament Catholic School or Benedictine Military School.
