Annie E. Owston

Annie Elisabeth Owston died peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. 

Annie was born in 1937 in Bordeaux, France to the late Vladimir and Germaine Birnbaum. She graduated from high school in France in 1955 and was a 1997 graduate of Georgia Southern University. Annie worked for many years as a substitute teacher in Chatham County.

In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Foster and a sister, Jinette Robec.

Annie leaves behind her husband, Robert Owston; a daughter, Michelle Foster; grandson, Christian Foster; sister, Sacha Adams; and brother-in-law, John Adams; a niece, Catherine Stanzler; and a nephew, Eric Adams.

In lieu of visitation and flowers, donations may be made to GHC Hospice, 7130 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Suite 201, Savannah, GA 31406.

A private graveside service will be held in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, GA.
