Betty Lanier Tillman

Betty L. Tillman, 88, of Bloomingdale passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Candler Hospital after an extended battle with cancer.
Betty was born in Ellabell, the daughter of Loren and Alice Lanier. She retired from Anderson Shipping Company after 40 years of service. She was an active member of Montgomery Presbyterian where she also participated in the PW Women’s group.
Betty was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Lorace H. Tillman and a daughter, Patricia T. Jarrell. She is survived by her three children, Beth (Joe) Christiansen, Stanley H. Tillman, and Debora E. Tillman. She is also survived by a sister, Elise L. Tillman; as well as, several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.
The family will have a private graveside service Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In Lieu of Flowers please make contributions in Betty’s name to the Leukemia Society or Montgomery Presbyterian Church.
