Celebrating the life of

Christopher Brian Edwards

November 18, 1970 - October 19, 2020

Christopher Brian Edwards

Christopher Brian Edwards (Chris) tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020.

Chris was born in Savannah on November 18, 1970, the second of four children, to Danny and Janet Edwards. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Day School and Calvary Day School. He worked in construction sales and built many lasting relationships with local builders and contractors.

Chris had a huge heart and was loved by everyone he met.  Fifteen years ago, the greatest joy came into his life with the birth of his much loved son, Pierce.  There was nothing in life Chris loved more than spending time with his son.  After being a dad, his next favorite role was “Uncle Chris” to his seven nieces and nephews.  Family meant more to Chris than anything, and he brought his contagious laughter and bright smile with him everywhere he went.

Chris is survived by his son Pierce; parents Danny and Janet; brother Dee (Suzanne) of Athens, GA; sister Cindy (Richard) Swan of Savannah, GA; brother Jason (Heather) Edwards of Richmond Hill, GA; and nieces and nephews Sam, Caroline, and Maggie Edwards, Liza and Turner Swan, and McLain and Layla Edwards.
