Brenda Gayle (Carter) Warren, age 55, passed away on August 29th, 2020 after a sudden illness.

Brenda was born on July 6th, 1965 in Savannah, GA. Brenda was a graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School. Most recently Brenda worked as a nanny and childcare provider and was previously a long-time employee at Tybrisa Beach Resort on Tybee Island, GA alongside the love of her life, Jerry Warren.

Brenda was known to be found in a good card game with family, bingo halls with her mother or volunteering at the local Moose Lodge. Brenda was a regular attendee at Trinity Chapel United Methodist Church where she accepted the lord Jesus Christ as her lord and savior.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Edward Eugene Carter.

She is survived by her husband and love of 28 years, Jerry Warren of Tybee Island, GA; step-daughter Mandy Warren; mother Aletha Dean Carter of Tybee Island, GA; sister Rhonda Ewing of Springfield, VA; niece Chelsea Ewing of St. Louis, MO; nephew Bryan “Paul” Ewing, Jr. of LeMoore, CA and numerous very special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brenda, we've known you since Cliff was 6. He's now 42. You and he were like sister and brother when you became his babysitter. I'll never forget all the trips you two took together all over the Island and he'd always ask to split the cost of pizza till I found out and paid for it before we left. Fast forward to when you needed a recomendation which I gladly gave. You helped me so much when I moved to the next Island. You were always so loving and kind. We've kept in touch all these years. You will be missed. Blessings to your family. May you have eternal peace. Peg, Brent, and Cliff
