Celebrating the life of

Robert Thomas Sitgreaves

Passed away on August 24, 2020

Robert Thomas Sitgreaves

Robert Thomas Sitgreaves (known by many as "Uncle Bob") born in 1949 in Kingsport TN, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness.  He was in the company of his wife of 49 years, Cyndie.

Bob attended University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University and has been an avid Tennessee Vols fan ever since.  He was a friendly familiar face in the car industry for many years in Savannah.  He enjoyed softball, his favorite watering hole - Spanky's and watching his granddaughters grow.

Bob is survived by wife Cynthia Benson Sitgreaves, daughter Christin Sitgreaves Rouse and granddaughter Hannah, daughter Jenifer Sitgreaves Swann (Charles Swann) and granddaughters Taylor and Mallory, his sister Betty Dickson, brother Jack Sitgreaves and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by many loved friends and especially his beloved fur babies, Winston and Karma.

So we say a hearty goodbye to "The Man on The Roof" and we know he won't be coming down any time soon...... as we will meet him up there one day!

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. prior the service.

Social distancing and the wearing of masks is encouraged for the safety of everyone attending.
