Celebrating the life of

Pamela Diane Perrone

September 16, 1957 - July 13, 2020

Pamela Diane Perrone

Pamela Diane Perrone, (Pam, Mama, Grandma), 62 of Savannah passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 13th, 2020. Pamela was born on September 16, 1957 in Savannah to Mary Lee Taylor and Carlton Wilbur Rowell. Sister to five siblings, Janet Rowell, Cindy Werner, Michael Rowell, Gale (Bubba) Taylor and Amy Burns. Pamela was an outstanding student, she graduated at the top of her class from Bible Baptist High School in 1975. Her very first job was at K-Mart as a cashier. After graduation, she studied at Savannah Technical College, then on to work at Savannah News Press measuring ads to fit the newspaper. She was very fond of animals, especially her childhood horses who she fed Oreos to. As she aged, it was the simple things in life that brought her joy. She loved watching movies and enjoying the ac keeping her cool on a hot day. She loved looking at and receiving pictures of her children and grandchildren. She was always a very proud mother and grandmother and all she ever wanted was to be with her babies. She is no longer by our sides, but forever and ever in our hearts until we meet again.

Survived by spouse Anthony Perrone, her children Ian Tolar, Ashley Perrone and Gabrielle Heidenreich, her grandchildren Aubrey Miller, Mila Orgal and Sidney Pawsby, her mother Mary Lee Taylor, and her many nieces and nephews and their children whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Carlton Wilbur Rowell and her sister Janet Lynn Rowell.

Thank you to all our family and friends who donated to help with Pamela’s funeral expenses. Thank you to Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors for giving us the opportunity to say our goodbyes and making a heavy situation feel a little lighter. We are not asking for any additional donations or flowers but ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones and cherish the time you have with them.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
