I met Lee in the 7th grade when I was the new kid at Savannah Christian. Lee was one of the first guys to take me in and introduce me to everyone. I will never for get that. I remember listening to Jimmy Hendrix in his bedroom while he talked about GA football nonstop! Esp. HW. Lee McCurry, so many great memories with this man. I became friends with him in elementary school and from there on out he was definitely one of my most loyal and best friends. One of our best times that we had together was my first trip to the lake with his family when we were in middle school. I knew he was going to be a good friend when he tried to cover up the fact that I wrecked his mom’s brand new jet ski that she got at the lake for her birthday. Obviously that didn’t work but it was the thought that counted. I have so many great memories with this guy from summer trips to Hilton Head to just hanging out on the weekends.
