GUEST BOOK

Wyman served with my dad in Japan during the Korean war and would tell me stories about my dad while we were at American Legion Post 154. He was also a client of our surveying company back in the 80s. What a great guy, so kind and laid back. I guess he and dad are back together telling old war stories. I won't be able to attend the funeral tomorrow because of a previously scheduled appointment. I am sorry for the families lost and will miss him dearly.

A candle has been lit!

So sorry for your loss. Wyman was always a special person, I know that he and Frances are dancing in Heaven together today. He was a great husband to my cousin, and a good Dad to Michael and Mark, and to Little Ashby (who is watching her Dad and Mom in Heaven as they dance). I know you all have special memories to remember about your Dad, Grand Dad, and Great Grand Dad. Just know always that your Dad left you all with enough Love to last you a lifetime.

Dear Mike and Mark and the entire family of Wyman H Sharp, we will miss “Daddy Wyman” immensely for it is not often that we get to know someone who possessed so much charm, character, fun and sense of responsibility. However, there are no profound or clever words that I can accurately depict of what an immense person Wyman was! His undying love and devotion to the family depicts the man we have known, respected and loved. Maybess and I first met Wyman and Frances when we lived at Lincoln River Estates in Richmond Hill. These were of the most treasured moments of our lives. We had many enjoyable years attending the Georgia, Florida football games with the gang, Bill (Gator) Betty, Wyman and Frances. Those were the days of fun and folly for all and with these and other memories of Wyman will help us to sustain his memory in the years to come. Peace be with you. We love you and God bless. I just happened to be doing internet searches this evening on old friends from childhood and saw your dad's nice obit remarks / passing this past summer. I'm ver sorry to hear of your families loss. and I'm sure you Mike and Mark remember me Joe Maddux, who lived across the street from you from age of 7 - 13 years. We were best of friends up until my family moved / got transferred to Richmond, VA., as my dad was with the Seaboard Railroad (later CSX). Your dad was the best at training you guys from an early age in: basketball, baseball, pingpong, swimming, water skiing, and of course cutting grass:) I'll never forget the simple system you had on paper to record your weekly chores i.e. would get a nice allowance each week. Plus your dad who worked at sears bought you that big tent that all the neighbor hood boys enjoyed from time to time camping out in on the weekend. Plus I remember your grandparents would come over every weekend to visit and would always bring you a large tootsie roll or something. They were very kind to give me one too if I was around. Sorry too about your fun loving mother and little sister Ashby who've gone on before. Lastly, I'll never forget I went to 1/2 of the 7th grade at Jenkins before our family moved north. One day in P.E. class we had a sit up contest. Mike won with 1,300 and I came in 2nd with 1,100. I bet we had never done sit ups before... but we just played so hard week end / week out / year end year out... that we just had developed some natural ability in sports. Mike especially was always the best of us all, a natural athlete from practice, practice, practice. I later in life enjoyed tennis and still play today and did the pole vault in Junior High and part of High School. 11 feet was my best jump... not bad for a skinny 100 pounder. And of course I now like to swim laps too, usually a quarter mile per outing. Take care and touch base if you're ever down the Disney way.
