Jamie Lynn Turner
Passed away on August 24, 2018
Jamie Lynn Turner, 37, of Savannah, passed away peacefully in her sleep from a heart attack, August 24, 2018. Jamie was born on September 17, 1980. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Harry J. Rusden, Gloria M. Fischer, John H. “Buddy” Fischer and Morton V. Turner.
Jamie was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. She had an immense love for her three beautiful children, making others laugh and anything that involved the salt water.
Jamie graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School in 1999. She went on to attend Mary Baldwin College, later graduating from Southside Regional Medical Center, School of Nursing in Petersburg, VA.
She is survived by her three beloved children Sarah Morgan Curry, Hunter Blake Curry and Lucy Grace Curry, her parents JoAnn Rusden and Bob Turner and his wife Cecilia Russo Turner, her grandmother Earlene H. Rusden, her sisters Lacey T. Herrington (Matt), Mallory M. Turner (Kevin von Waldner), her nephew Turner L. Herrington, her uncles and aunts Colonel Michael J. (Dana) Rusden, USAF RET, and Vic (Karon)Turner, many cousins and extended family.
A visitation will be held at Fox and Weeks at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.

Jamie was full of joy, song and dance. Jamie loved glitter and sparkle. Jamie was creative. Jamie was comfort. I’m so blessed to have known her. I will miss my sweet friend. We shared many memories but my favorite will be the last time I saw her. I will cherish our Chris Stapleton concert , shopping and dinner. A perfect day. I love you, Jamie.
