Edward Stephen Coward
November 28, 1962 - April 10, 2020
Born November 28,1962 in Savannah, Georgia Died April 10, 2020 peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, the place he called Home.
Edward was the youngest son of Walter C. Coward Jr. and Dolores (Lynn) Coward. He was preceded to Heaven by his father, Walter C. Coward Jr. and his brother, Walter C. Coward III. He was a caring Husband to Rebecca (Moore) Coward and loving father to 3 daughters and 2 stepsons: Amanda Coward, Justin Cole, Melanie (Coward) Riffle, Patrick Cole, and Marie Coward.
Edward was an electrician with the IBEW LU 508, the Cunnihan Award winner for his apprentice class, which took him to Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and upstate New York.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Edward will be remembered fondly for the little things he did for the children. Like bon fires on Friday night after football games, shooting bb guns in the backyard, being known to be able fix anything. We all, friends and family, have memories with boat trips to Wassaw sound and fishing, sometimes for shark. He was a kind and caring man that will be deeply missed.
