Tonya Rovolis Ginn

Tonya Rovolis Ginn

Ms. Tonya Rovolis Ginn, age 72, died February 25 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  A native of Savannah, she was of Greek heritage.  She was formerly a hairdresser, was a retired house painter, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.  She was devoted to her grandchildren, and was insistent on them getting an education.

Surviving are a son, Robert Penix (Tracey); two grandchildren, Emily Nicole Penix and Gavin Tremblay; a sister, Angela Horton; and a great grandson.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Macy Noel Smith.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 29 at 2:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Awtrey officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rovolis cousins and nephews.
