My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family at this difficult time. I will carry John's laughter and smile with me forever.

- Jeff Winter, ATLANTA, GA

John and I were friends a long time ago; we did not stay in touch very long after high school. His sense of humor and witty rhetoric is what I will always remember. He was a good man with a good heart, loved by all. Rest In Peace old friend.

- James (Bubba) Rowell, Kenai, Alaska

- Scott Rahn, Savannah , GA

John and I were friends when we were in middle/high school. He drove me to school every day for a couple of years. Though we had not talked since then, I still thought of him often. He was a good person, had a wonderfully dry sense of humor, and a great laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace.

- Jill Hayes, Knoxville, TN

I've known Mr. John for most of my 16 years; he was like a 2nd father to me. I miss him dearly and all of my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family every day.

- Taylor Smith, SAVANNAH, GA

A candle has been lit!

We are deeply saddened by the loss of my dear brother who was my best friend and loved by our entire family. "He ain't heavy he's my brother" is how I will remember my little brother as we shared the love of music together and this song epitomizes the relationship of all brothers and sisters. John brought joy to many people as he was a caring person who enjoyed life and true friendships. We shared many exciting times together and I will always remember the joy he brought into my life. Rest in peace brother as we'll meet again. Thanks to his friends who rallied around his family during this most difficult time. On behalf of my family Pearl, Derek, Holly and Savannah our hearts, sympathy and support go to his family Georgia, Max and Morgan who we love very much also.

- Jessie J. DeLoach, Lacey, Washington
