Judith Olga Williamson
Passed away on September 11, 2018
Judith Olga Williamson, born June 1, 1928 in Notzing, Germany, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at her residence under the care of Hospice Savannah and her family. She was the beloved wife of Richard T. Williamson, who preceded her in death after 57 years of marriage. She lived a life embracing all around her with kindness and love.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Bobby Freeman and Corky Butler and two grandchildren, Olivia Butler and David White.
She is survived by her daughters, Judi White and Rita Butler; daughters and sons-in-law, Maurice and Bonnie Pender; Courtney and Theresa Houston; William and Veronica Makepeace; Todd and Becky Bethel and her favorite son, Richard “Dicky” Williamson. She had 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and was dearly loved by all.
She will be greatly missed but her legend will live on.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel
Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
