KATE RIDDICK JOHNSON

Kate Riddick Johnson 96, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Enterprise, Alabama living in Panama City, Florida until moving to Savannah in 1941.
She graduated from Florida State College for Women in 1931 and married Thomas C. Johnson that same year. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1948, and a member of the D.A.R. Frobel Circle, the Coastal Scottish Heritage Society, the Savannah Genealogy Society, the Seminole Club and was a member of the Savannah Yacht Club since 1964.
Surviving are, her son and daughter in law, Dr. Jerome & Barbara Johnson of Savannah, her daughter and son in law, Roberta A. & Barry Bonwit of Pensacola, Florida, grandchildren and spouses, Julie & Dave Blake, Janice & Wayne Wilson, Jodie & John Gatch, six great grandchildren, a niece, Betty Finnigan and a nephew, Mike VanHorn.

Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Burial will be Private.
