JACQUELINE LUCY GOLGOWSKI O’CONNOR

Jacqueline L. O’Connor of Savannah, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 12, 1921 in New York City and raised her family on Long Island and Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.
Jacqueline married her childhood sweetheart, Desmond Charles and recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. Together they raised their seven children.
Jacqueline was a devoted mother and grandmother of 12. She celebrated life with family and friends with a timeless elegance. Truly a woman who possessed both inner and physical beauty, Jacqueline was loved by everyone she touched in her life. With an open heart, she embraced everyone.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Desmond Charles O’Connor, her daughter, Denise Lucy O’Connor Sweeney William of Savannah, her sons, Duane O’Connor Margaret of Charlotte, NC, Ronald O’Connor of Atlanta, Glenn O’Connor Pamela of Locust Valley, NY, Mark O’Connor Kimberley of Lincroft, NJ, Gary O’Connor Maureen of Boca Raton, FL, two brothers, Gary Golgowski Mary of Ormond Beach, FL and Gregory Golgowski Helen of Orlando, FL.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Retaillaud Golgowski, her father, John Golgowski, her son, Sean Gary O’Connor and her infant son Christopher O’Connor.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with a Rosary Services at 3 p.m. with Father Mark Ross officiating.
