Vergie H. Larrimore

Vergie Heath Larrimore, 82, died Saturday August 26, 2006 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Statesboro, Georgia lived in Savannah most of her life where she met Calvin E. Larrimore whom she married in 1946 and they spent fifty-one years together. She was a charter member of Riverside Baptist Church, a member and faithful Sunday School teacher of Southside Baptist Church, and a member of Skidaway Island Baptist Church. She moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 2004 to live with her daughter and was a member of the Bradfordville First Baptist Church. She was a stay at home mom, a seamstress, and enjoyed raising her family and serving her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin E. Larrimore.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Audry and Edward Puletz, of Tallahassee, Florida, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Linda Larrimore, of Savannah, and Conrad and Cathy Larrimore, of Covington, GA, one brother, Valder Heath, Jr., three sisters, Aletheia Johnson, Edna Mallard, and Caroline Deal. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Shannon Morrison, Kelly Hamilton, Sean, Lacey, Ashley, and Emily Larrimore, and three great-grandchildren, Riley and Regan Morrison, and Amber Larrimore.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, Savannah, Georgia.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Skidaway Island Baptist Church with Dr. James Staubes officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
