Bythilla W. Jones

Bythilla Whitaker Jones, 93, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Hospice Savannah. She was a native of Wilkinson County, GA. She was a former member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wallace Jones, Sr.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel W. and Lujane Jones, of Savannah, two daughters, Sylvia Allen, of Savannah, and Sue Rivers, of Beaufort, South Carolina. Also one sister, Beatrice Etheridge, of McIntyre, Georgia, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, September 18, 2006 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery off Hwy 67 in Bulloch County.

Remembrances may be sent to Hospice Savannah or a favorite charity.
