Corean Blackwell Galbreath
Corean Blackwell Galbreath, 93, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Azalealand Nursing Home under the care of Hospice Savannah Inc.
She was a native of Franklinton, Louisiana and had lived in Savannah since 1936. Mrs. Galbreath worked at Union Camp and was a member of Southside Baptist for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Emory Wilson Galbreath.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Wayne Galbreath of Mauldin, SC and Rick D. Galbreath of Columbus, GA; one daughter, Judith Lynn Galbreath of Savannah; two brothers, Joe and Frank Blackwell both of Bogalusa, LA; two grandchildren, Carey Galbreath of Rock Hill, SC and Mark Galbreath of Greenville, SC; and two great grandchildren, Tanner and Allie Galbreath both of Rock Hill, SC.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
