Thomas Franklin Pendleton

Thomas Franklin Pendleton III, 96, died peacefully on January 25, 2006. He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Beulah; daughter Elaine Montgomery of New York City; son Thomas F. Pendleton IV of San Francisco, CA and grandson Kaiyo Pendleton.

He was a native of New Haven, CT and had resided in Savannah for forty-nine years. He graduated from Yale University in 1931. While a student at Yale he worked for the American Auto Association AAA and continued with that organization, retiring as manager of the Savannah Motor Club.

Tom was a member of Rotary for over fifty years and wrote the weekly newsletter for most of that time. He was a member of the Savannah Golf Club for many years.

His cremains will be interred beside his son Michael at East Lawn Cemetery in East Haven Connecticut at a later date.

He will be missed.

We were sorry to read of Mr. Tom's passing. He worked with my brother, Marvin Holloway Tampa for many years and was greatly respected by all of us. Mrs. Beaulah please accept our condolances. Marvin died several years ago at age 90, also on the 25th of January
