RUBY MAE BOWEN MCULLOUGH

Ruby Mae Bowen McCullough 93, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born in Glennville, Georgia on April 2, 1913, the daughter of Robert and Martha Ann Bowen. She was the youngest of seven children.
Mrs. McCullough was married for 64 years to the late Wilbur Reese McCullough, Sr. and lived in Savannah, Georgia. They had two sons and one daughter. She was the Dietary Supervisor at Candler Hospital-Central Unit from 1968 to 1974. She was an active member of The First Alliance Church in Savannah of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Donald Bowen McCullough and Wilbur Reese McCullough, Jr.
Surviving are, her daughter, Suzanne M. Barbot of Savannah, seven grandchildren, Wilbur R. McCullough, III of Brandon, FL, David B. McCullough of Norcross, GA, J. Shannon McCullough of Comer, GA, Cylina K. Lang of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly K. Perry of Savannah, Jennifer B. Thompson of Richmond Hill, GA, and Dr. B. Marcus Bailey of Savannah, several great grandchildren and her daughter-in-laws, Sandy Sikes and Connie Munn both of Savannah.


Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with burial in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Hospice Savannah Inc.
