David C. Howe
David Carl Howe, 88 died Friday, February 23, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Tifton, lived in Fitzgerald and moved to Savannah in 1945. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and the Landrum Lodge #48 F. & A.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances J. Howe, of Savannah, one sister Lillian Frazier, of Fitzgerald, several nieces and nephews including, Dr. William E. Jackson, Jr. and Glen M. Jackson, both of Savannah, two great-nephews, Micah Jackson and Hunter Jackson, two godsons, Ronnie Hendley and his wife, Sally, and Steven Hendley.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
