JULIA STEVENS FRANKLIN

Julia Stevens Franklin 88, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Bibb County, Georgia and was a longtime resident of in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Franklin had been a resident of Savannah for the past 30 years. She was a retired Private Duty Registered Nurse and served as a nurse in the United States Army during WWII. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and the Masters Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Franklin and her son, Miles Franklin.

Surviving are her children, Elaine Love of California, Fran Abernathy of Savannah and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be Friday, March 16, 2007 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel at Bible Baptist Church.

Remembrances to: Club 52 Youth Group at Bible Baptist Church.
