MRS. GLENN B. FILLINGIM
Mrs. Glenn B. Fillingim 97, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Savannah Square Retirement Community. She was a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and longtime resident of Savannah. She was a member of the First Baptist of Savannah.
Mrs. Fillingim was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. David B. Fillingim and her son, Jerry Fillingim.
Surviving are, her sons, David Fillingim, John Fillingim, Hugh Fillingim, Jim Fillingim, her daughter, Mary Daniel, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 18, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Services will be Monday, March 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

I will never forget her many kind and encouraging words and deeds as we were growing up. To me, she was almost like a second mother. May she rest in peace.

John: I was scrolling through the website and saw that your mother had died. I was in Greensboro, NC with my daughter who was in the hospital and has subsequently died from leukemia.
