Savannah, GA - A lifetime member of Victory Baptist Church, Mary Pansy Lee Ferguson went to join her late husband, George, Sunday, March 18, 2007, after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family and Vista Care nurse, Toby.
Born in Newington, Georgia, on February 15, 1925, she was retired from McCrory’s. She later worked for Memorial Hospital in the snack bar and worked for fifteen years as a crossing guard at Hesse Elementary School.
She is survived by two daughters, Lillian Bill Brune of Bloomingdale, GA and Mae F. Harrison of Savannah; four brothers, Melvin Lee in Midway Nursing Home, William Rachael Lee of Hephzibah, David Betty Lee of Sylvania, and Lloyd Judy Lee of Jacksonville, GA; one sister, Daisy Winford Anderson of Sylvania; six grandchildren, Shirley Annette Murphy of Savannah, Bobby Debra Brune of Bloomingdale, Chris Brune of Bloomingdale, Ty Cathy Brune of Savannah, Nicole Les Robarge and boy on the way of Savannah, Danielle Harrison of Savannah, and Michelle Ben Bendel of Sacramento, CA; nine great-grandchildren, Breanna, Cody, Trevor, Madison, Kayla, Tyler, Brandon, Sean, and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20th at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Flowers are welcome but a donation to Vista Care in Pooler is acceptable.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to Vista Care for their care, support and compassion for their mother and her family.
Mom, you will be greatly missed and we love you very much.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Brune, Chris Brune, Ty Brune, Les Robarge and Melvin Bubba Lee.
