Barbara and Karen, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. He was truly a great man and you two were the lights of his life. I met your Dad more than twenty years ago in Parents Without Partners. He was so wonderful to my sons and myself even taking us to one of his beloved Georgia football games. I have always admired his ability to handle his ALS-no one could have done that with more courage and acceptance. Charles was certainly one of a kind, his gentle and generous nature coupled with his wit and intelligence made him an unforgetalbe man. I was privileged to know him and will never forget him. Sincerely, Paula Thompson

Barbara, My thoughts have been with you. I hope you're doing as well as can be expected. I wish I could have been there for the services. To this day, I still think of 'Uncle Charles' whenever I'm around someone smoking a pipe. I always loved the smell of his tobacco pipe. Love, Cathy

Barbara, As you may remember I worked with Charles for several years while I lived in Savannah. I have many fond memories of Charles. We would eat many lunches together and discuss family his girls, his bowling and dancing and of course the Bulldogs. He was a gentlemen of gentleman. Charles, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless, Bobby Goolsby

To all family members of Charles R. Lee: We thought a lot of Charles, and we have enjoyed staying in touch with him via email. We looked foward to receiving his emails because he was always sending inspirational emails, as well as funny emails which made us laugh. We will miss him.
