Henry J. “Hank” Kennedy, Jr.
Rincon - Henry James “Hank” Kennedy, Jr., 53, died Saturday March 31, 2007 at Hospice Savannah. He was a native of Savannah and lived for many years in Rincon. He was retired from the Electrical Workers Union # 508. He was of the Catholic faith. He graduated from St. James Parochial School, attended Benedictine and graduated from Jenkins High School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Mendel Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife, Frances E. Kennedy, of Rincon, his father, Henry James Kennedy, Sr., of Savannah, four sisters, Gayle Horace Perkins, of Anderson, South Carolina, Catherine Irvin Levine, of Savannah, Lisa Rev. Jay Bergstresser, of Merritt Island, Florida and Marie Andy Norton, of Douglasville, GA. He is also survived by two step-children, Brian C. Stanhope, of Rincon, and Phyllis M. Ferreira, of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in the Catholic Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah or Blessed Sacrament Church.
