Donna Bearden Strickland
Savannah- Donna B. Strickland, 69, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007at Hospice House.
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived most of her life in Savannah. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. Her husband, Robert L. Strickland, Sr. preceded her in death.
Survivors: son, Robert L. “Bear” Strickland, Jr.; two daughters, Michele Strickland and Elizabeth “Terri” Hood; four grandchildren, Christina, Wesley and Taylor Hood and Brandy Strickland, all of Savannah; mother, Hazel Bearden; two brothers, Kenneth Bearden and David Bearden; four sisters, Myra Bernaldo, Janice Crofton, Kathy Williams, and Debbie Cooler, all of Tampa, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2007at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
Funeral Service: 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
