MRS. CLIFFORD BLACK MICKEY PARKS

Mrs. Clifford Black Mickey Parks 83, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and G.G. died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. Mrs. Parks was a 1943 graduate from Commercial High School and was employed with Bouhan, William, Lawrence & Levy until 1952. She was an active member of South Gardens Christian Church, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 8, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars William A. Reed Memorial Post 660, and Member Emeritus of Savannah Chapter 52 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. Jim Parks, Jr.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse H. and Beth L. Parks, III, her daughter, Kate Parks, grandson, Jesse H. Parks IV and wife Shannon K. Parks, granddaughter, Jaclyn Baxter, great grandson, Rylee Austin Baxter, Jesse H. Parks, V and several special nieces, nephews and devoted friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with the Reverend Steven R. Helmly officiating.

Burial will be Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Active Pallbearers will be Howard Sapp, Seth Walker, Mac Burriss, David Dauphinee, Ian Dauphinee, Dustin Dauphinee and Mac Burriss Jr.
