James F. Osbourne

Savannah-James F. Osbourne passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, May 22, 2007.
The Savannah native was a widower, after the passing of his wife of 45 years, June L. Osbourne on September 10, 2001. He was a graduate of Benedictine Military School and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Osbourne served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Affiliations: Communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church; The Exchange Club; The Fenian Society; Old Timers Softball Club; American Legion Post 154; Bacon Park Senior Blitz and, Savannah Association of Flying Air National Guardsmen.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Sam Kemp Kingwood, TX; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg and Adrienne Osbourne of Roswell and Matt Osbourne of Roswell; six grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Jonathan, Morgan, Sarah and Taylor; the second love of his life, Jane Mell and, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 27, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick O’Brien, Celebrant.
Family Burial: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
