ELLEN “MIKEY” WISE GOODLING

Ellen “Mikey” Wise Goodling, 87 died Sunday, June 10, 2007 after a short illness. She was born in Savannah on December 22, 1919. She graduated from Commercial High School in Savannah, Georgia. Mikey was a retired lunchroom manager for the Savannah Chatham County public schools. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the German Country Club.
She was the widow of John L. Goodling.

Surviving are, her son John M. Mike Goodling and his wife, Charlotte of Savannah, granddaughters, Amy Goodling Zapp of Houston, TX, Christina Curinga and husband, Nicholas of Port Richey, FL, Hart McMillion of Savannah, grandson, David McMillion and wife, Amanda of Flowery Branch, GA. Also surviving are great granddaughters, Alexis Curinga and Savannah Zapp, many devoted and loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great niece and nephews as well as all special friends from Wednesday Night Eatin Meetin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
