Arthur F. Moye

Arthur Floyd Moye, 73, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at his residence in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The Savannah native was a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church/St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and was a current member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ridgeland and was an avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Moye.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Roughen Moye, of Ridgeland, four sons and daughters-in-law, James Patrick and Donna Marie Moye, of Salisbury, New York, Anthony Floyd and Jane Moye, of Savannah, Timothy Hugh and Julia Moye, of Nampa, Idaho, and Kelly Thomas and Angela Moye, of Savannah. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Eamonn and Garrett Moye, April Moye Downing and Benjamin Moye, Nicole and Logan Moye, and Trevor and Grant Moye.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Michael Hussey and Father Patrick O’Brien as celebrants.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
