Rose was the school nurse for Georgetown School when my boys attended. Because my son took medicine every day, she was very important to the success of his school experience. She had a big heart for all the children. I remember the day before the first Thanksgiving and I found her crying in her office. She said she knew there were children who might have only a bowl of rice once a day during the holiday, certainly not a turkey, until they returned to school the next week. People don't realize what a vital role the School Nurse plays in the health of the school's population, for both the children and teachers. My prayers are with her boys and family. Sincerely, Chris, Jeff and Mike Thomas

We are all going to deeply miss our special Rose, she was indeed a compassionate, generous, very loving and caring person. Every child loved 'Aunt Rosie' and she ALWAYS had her 'goodie bags' for the kids, no matter what. Rose was a special person who had a huge heart for all. She will especially be fondly missed by her precious angel, Shaylan.
