E. Ray Price

Savannah- Mr. Ray Price, 78, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at his home.

He was born in Marion County, Mississippi to the late Mr. Hollis Cooper Price and Mrs. Iva Hammond Price. He moved to Savannah at age 8 and was a graduate of Commercial High School where he was a member of the Royal Order. Mr. Price was a sales representative for 26 years with Standard Brands, Inc. and later worked with Marla Brokerage Company before retiring in 1997 from Acosta Sales. He was an avid fisherman and loved working in his yard with his many flowers.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Anderson Price of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Price Packham and Charles of Dunedin, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Emory Price and Julie of Savannah; sister, Mary Lynn Hill of Martinez, GA; brother, Bill Emory Price of Savannah; four grandchildren, Aimee Packham, Shawn Packham, Miranda Price and Matthew Price and two great-grandchildren, Austin Packham and Allissah Packham.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Islands Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2007 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
