William H. “Billy” Tuten, Sr.
Rincon – William H. “Billy” Tuten, Sr., 70, died Wednesday June 27, 2007 at Candler Hospital. Mr. Tuten was an ordained deacon and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rincon. He was the founder and President of Coastal Marine Sales in Thunderbolt. He spent most of his career as an automotive machinist.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Christine B. Tuten, of Rincon, sons and daughters-in-law, Willie and Melanie Tuten, Eddie and Michele Tuten, and Michael and Tracey Tuten. He is also survived by two sisters, Christine Adams and Lorraine Rodewalt, grandchildren, Christina Tuten, Dayna and Dustin Linton, Daron Tuten, Brittany Tuten, and Ben Tuten, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, June 29, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with the Rev. Bob Rogers officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
